Early Learning
Early Learning Group
Early Learning is a supported 'play group' environment, in which children are provided with open ended learning experiences, allowing them to explore and learn through play, supported by their parent/caregiver.
Early Learning Group is a play-based program which focuses on learning through exploration, igniting the wonder and curiosity in your child. These learning experiences are designed to enable children to interpret, engage and explore on a personal level – allowing them to be ‘in control’ of their learning. This in turn allows them to see themselves as successful learners.
Each child is entitled to develop a love for learning. The children are given opportunities to learn through play and view the world from their eyes. Play allows children to explore and discover at a pace that is natural and not hurried. Through play, children experience turn taking, opportunities to negotiate, share their thinking and explore each other’s sense of humour. Children develop a sense of fun in their learning and discover many opportunities to build respectful relationships.
The Early Learning Program is offered every Tuesday 9 to 10:30 am and is designed for children from birth to 5 years. The Early Learning Program has no cost.
ALL families from within the community are welcome to attend.
